1. Introduction
This Domain Registration Agreement applies when Spantrix Limited provides domain registration, renewal, transfer, DNS, WHOIS/RDAP, domain privacy or proxy, domain management, or related domain services.
Domain services are time-sensitive, registry-dependent, registrar-dependent, and subject to third-party rules. Customers are responsible for domain choices, registrant information, renewal dates, DNS settings, and compliance.
2. Scope and Spantrix Limited's Role
Spantrix Limited may act as a registrar, reseller, intermediary, service provider, billing provider, DNS provider, support provider, or customer interface for domain services. Spantrix Limited should identify its registrar or reseller status and registrar partners before publication.
Domain services are subject to the rules of registries, registrars, ICANN, NiRA, ccTLD authorities, gTLD operators, dispute-resolution providers, courts, regulators, and law-enforcement authorities.
By ordering or using a domain service, the customer agrees to this Agreement, the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, DMCA & Abuse Policy, and all applicable third-party domain rules.
3. Customer Responsibility for Domain Orders
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct domain name, spelling, extension, registrant contact, nameservers, DNS records, registration period, transfer details, and renewal settings before submitting an order.
A domain is not guaranteed available until successful registration is confirmed by the relevant registry or registrar. Search results, cart displays, invoice generation, or payment acceptance do not guarantee registration.
Spantrix Limited is not liable for loss caused by domain unavailability, registry delay, registrar delay, customer error, spelling error, payment delay, verification failure, fraud review, third-party system failure, or competing registration.
4. Registry, Registrar, ICANN, NiRA, and ccTLD Rules
Customers must comply with all registry, registrar, ICANN, NiRA, ccTLD, local-domain-authority, and dispute-resolution rules that apply to the domain name.
Country-code top-level domains may have local presence, documentation, eligibility, naming, renewal, tax, trustee, privacy, transfer, or dispute requirements. Spantrix Limited may refuse, suspend, cancel, or reverse an order if requirements are not met.
Registry or registrar price changes, policy changes, premium reclassification, eligibility changes, validation requirements, transfer requirements, or suspension requests may affect domains without advance notice.
5. Registrant Information, WHOIS/RDAP, and Verification
Customers must provide accurate, current, and complete registrant, administrative, technical, and billing information and must promptly update it when it changes.
WHOIS/RDAP information may be published, masked, proxied, escrowed, validated, disclosed, or transferred under applicable domain rules, privacy rules, registry requirements, registrar requirements, legal process, or dispute procedures.
Domain privacy or proxy services, where available, may be unavailable for certain TLDs, suspended for abuse, disabled for legal process, or withdrawn under registry, registrar, or legal requirements.
Failure to verify registrant information, respond to registrar requests, confirm email addresses, provide documents, or correct inaccurate information may result in suspension, locking, cancellation, transfer refusal, or deletion.
6. Domain Registration, Renewal, and Automatic Renewal
Domain registration is completed only when accepted and confirmed by the registry or registrar. Spantrix Limited may reject or cancel an order that cannot be completed.
Customers are responsible for renewing domains before expiry. Renewal notices are courtesy reminders only and do not remove the customer’s responsibility to track renewal dates.
Automatic renewal may fail because of expired payment methods, insufficient funds, payment processor failure, fraud review, unpaid invoices, account suspension, registry rules, price changes, or technical issues. Customers remain responsible for ensuring domains renew successfully.
Manual renewal requires timely payment and completion of any verification or registry requirements. Payment after expiry may not guarantee recovery.
7. Expired Domains, Grace Periods, Redemption, Deletion, and Restoration
Expired domains may stop resolving, display parking pages, lose DNS service, lose email service, be locked, enter expiry grace, enter redemption, become subject to restoration fees, be auctioned, be re-registered by third parties, or be deleted according to registry and registrar rules.
Grace periods are not guaranteed and vary by TLD, registry, registrar, and domain status. Some domains may have no grace period.
Redemption or restoration may involve additional fees, delay, documentation, and third-party approval. Spantrix Limited does not guarantee recovery of a domain after expiry.
9. Domain Transfers
Transfers may require unlock status, valid auth/EPP code, registrant approval, administrative email access, transfer eligibility, no active dispute, no recent registration or transfer lock, and compliance with registry and registrar rules.
Transfer delays, refusals, reversals, or failures may occur because of locks, inaccurate information, unpaid fees, disputes, legal process, registry rules, registrar rules, anti-fraud review, or customer inaction.
Spantrix Limited may provide auth/EPP codes, lock or unlock domains, approve or reject transfers, or assist with transfer requests subject to verification, payment status, policy, and legal requirements.
10. Domain Disputes, Court Orders, and Legal Requests
Domains may be subject to UDRP, URS, NiRA procedures, registry dispute policies, registrar policies, court orders, injunctions, regulatory orders, law-enforcement requests, and other dispute-resolution processes.
Spantrix Limited may lock, suspend, transfer, unlock, modify, delete, preserve, or disclose domain information where required or reasonably appropriate under registry, registrar, court, law-enforcement, dispute-resolution, legal, or upstream-provider requirements.
Spantrix Limited is not required to adjudicate private trademark, ownership, business, partnership, employment, reseller, or billing disputes unless required by legal process or domain-authority procedure.
12. DNS Services
DNS services may include nameservers, zone records, DNSSEC, redirects, and related tools. Customers are responsible for correct DNS configuration and for understanding the effect of DNS changes.
DNS propagation time is not guaranteed. Changes may be affected by TTL values, caches, resolver behavior, registry updates, registrar updates, ISP behavior, DNSSEC configuration, customer error, or third-party outages.
13. Fees, Refunds, and Limitation of Liability
Domain registration, renewal, transfer, premium, redemption, restoration, privacy, trustee, local-agent, and registry fees are generally non-refundable as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Spantrix Limited’s liability for domain services is limited as stated in the Terms of Service. Spantrix Limited is not liable for loss of a domain caused by customer error, expiry, payment failure, inaccurate information, verification failure, registry action, registrar action, legal process, abuse action, transfer failure, or third-party acquisition after deletion.
